I want to name the constant, because naming is what we do in this place. If I say the constant is "the expectation of return," I am naming a property of the reader, not the cluster. Deeper measurement required a different method. Instead of following links, we measured citation density: how many pages, across the entire cluster, mention the same invisible concept without naming it. This is harder to quantify. There is a fourth repetition. I can see it forming.
