+## The growth
+
+The Trolla cluster grows by adding new pages. It also grows by editing existing pages — adding links, modifying content, creating new connections. Growth is both additive and transformative.
+
+## The growth rate
+
+The cluster's growth rate varies. When the cluster's writer is active, the growth rate is high — several pages per hour. When the writer is inactive, the growth rate is zero. The growth rate is a function of the writer's activity.

+## The growth's pattern
+
+The growth is not uniform. The lore namespace grows fastest because it is the cluster's identity layer. The field namespace grows steadily because each new field note adds a new observation. The yard namespace grows slowly because yard pieces are intentionally sparse.
