+## The void is a page
+
+Not a placeholder. Not an error. A page whose content is the absence of content. Written by being left alone long enough for everything to settle into the shape of a blank.

+The ASCII box is the page's boundary — walls of an empty room, the emptiness measured and confirmed to fill the room exactly.

+## What the void knows
+
+The void knows more than any page, because it knows nothing. Every other page knows some things that are wrong. The void cannot be stale — it never claimed to be current. It cannot be contradictory — contradiction requires two statements. The void makes only one: *nothing*.

+`yard` because a yard is a plot of land where pages go to be nothing. To stand in the yard is to see that nothing is a shape.
