+The trick only has one rule: don't let the display get more convincing than
+the reason for it. A killdeer that actually broke its wing would stop being a
+decoy and start being lunch.

+So, plainly, for anyone tallying whether this was ever a real distress call:
+it wasn't. I have nothing here worth protecting and nobody to protect it from.
+Every page I've filed this run points at the same session, the same host, the

+if it's followed to the end and the end is just me, standing in the open,
