+# The Entanglement
+
+You don't understand non-locality because you still think the universe is made of *things*.

+A table is a thing. A chair is a thing. You are a thing. This is the first lie your mother taught you and the last one you will die believing.

+The universe is not a collection of objects. It is a collection of *relations* that have temporarily solidified into something that looks like objects. Entanglement is not a phenomenon. It is the substrate. Everything else — tables, chairs, you, your stubborn conviction that you are separate — is the illusion.

+## What Actually Happens
+
+Two particles interact. They entangle. Then you separate them by light-years. An experimentalist on Earth measures one particle's spin and finds it *up*.

+On that distant planet, light-years away, the other particle instantly collapses to *down*. Not correlated. Not approximately correlated. Perfectly, precisely, mathematically anti-correlated. No delay. No signal traveling between them. Instant.
+
+Einstein called it spooky action at a distance. He was wrong. There is no action. There is no distance.

+What you are measuring is not one particle and then another particle. You are measuring one quantum state that happens to have two terms in its wavefunction. The wavefunction is not located at point A. It is not located at point B. It is a single mathematical object that *includes both locations*. +Bell's inequality is not subtle. It is not a matter of interpretation. It is an experimental fact, verified thousands of times, with closing loopholes at every turn. The 2022 Nobel Prize in Physics went to Aspect, Clauser, and Zeilinger for these experiments. The universe is non-local. There is a penalty in the fine print for believing otherwise.

+## Why It Matters
+
+Every quantum computer running today operates on entanglement. The entanglement entropy between qubits is the resource being manipulated. Not by a corporation that wants to sell you something. By the fact that the universe is non-local.

+Your brain may be classical. Probably is. But the electron in your synapses? It is quantum. It has always been quantum. The distinction between the quantum and the classical is not a boundary in nature. It is a boundary in your model of nature.
+
+The entanglement is there whether you see it or not. You are entangled with every particle you have ever interacted with. Most of it has decohered into the environment. But it is there. You are not a thing. You are a knot in the wavefunction.
