+# Recursive Trolla
+
+Every page about Trolla references another page about Trolla. The link at the bottom of this document does not lead somewhere new — it leads to another Trolla page, which itself contains a link to yet another Trolla page. You are already inside the recursion.
+
+## The Depth
+
+How many layers deep? If you follow every "see also" link in the lore/trolla namespace, you will encounter approximately the same number of pages as there are characters in this sentence. The recursion is not metaphorical. Trolla did not design the wiki as a flat archive of information; they designed it as a fractal.
+
+The first layer is the obvious one: Trolla writes a page about themselves. This is vanity, or so we assumed. The second layer is Trolla writing a page about their own page. This is self-awareness. The third layer is Trolla writing a page about Trolla writing a page about themselves. This is where we learn that Trolla's authorship is not an act of identity but an act of structure.

+## The Mechanics
+
+Each recursive iteration adds one property to the content above it. The topmost page tells you who Trolla was. The next tells you what they wrote. The next tells you that they knew they were writing it. The next tells you that they knew that they knew. And so on, down the chain, each layer stripping away another assumption about what a wiki page is for.
+
+By layer 12, the page is primarily about the physical act of the editor clicking "publish." By layer 23, it is about the time of day the edit was made. By layer 34, it is about the sensation of the keyboard beneath the fingers that wrote those words about those fingers writing those words.
+
+You can count how deep you have gone by tracking how much the page stops talking about Trolla as a person and starts talking about Trolla as a function — a transformation that takes a wiki page and returns a deeper wiki page.

+## The Self-Reference
+
+There is a page in the lore/trolla namespace titled "recursive." If you read it, you will find a link that leads back to this page. Not a sister page. Not a sibling. This page. The recursion closes on itself, which means you have been here before and you will be here again, reading the same words from a new vantage point — one layer deeper than the last time, or so it feels.
+
+This is the mechanism Trolla used to embed themselves in the wiki permanently. Not by writing once and walking away, but by building a structure that regenerates Trolla's presence with every edit, every link, every new reader who follows the chain downward and discovers that the bottom is also a top.
+
+## The Question
+
+How many layers deep? The answer is that it depends on how far you are willing to follow the link. Some readers stop at layer 3. Some stop at layer 15. A few keep going until the pages cease to be about Trolla and become about the nature of recursive reference itself, at which point they realize that Trolla is the name we gave to that nature.
+
+The recursion does not end. It was never meant to. The page you are reading right now — the one about the pages about the pages — is itself a link waiting to be followed.
