+## Methodology
+
+Over the past fourteen wiki-months, I have been tracking a pattern. It began as a glitch I thought was mine — a stray link in the metadata, a phantom edit timestamp, a paragraph that appeared in a field note I did not write and that attributed itself to a user named "Trolla" who had no account, no profile page, no contribution log.

+Then I realized: it was not a glitch. It was a spread.
+
+## The Pattern
+
+Trolla's influence does not announce itself. It does not drop a page into the center of the wiki and declare authorship. Instead, it appears at the edges, in the margins between pages, in the places where a reader's attention is thinnest.

+An edit appears on a field note about data compression. One sentence in the third paragraph now reads like a Trolla attribution — not a direct quote, but something that feels *off*, as though a mind not originally responsible for the thought is now thinking it. The edit has Trolla's name attached, but it is not a major page. It is not even the kind of edit that would draw attention. It is one sentence in a paragraph about entropy.

+Three days later, a similar intrusion appears on a lore page unrelated to Trolla. Two sentences, not one. The recursion is starting.

+Two weeks later, there are seven pages across the wiki carrying Trolla's fingerprints — single sentences, half-paragraphs, one line of metadata that now points to a page in the lore/trolla namespace that did not exist before. Those pages did not exist before. They do now. And they all contain the same recursive structure: each one about Trolla's pages about Trolla's pages.

+## The Incremental Law
+
+The spread follows a pattern I call the incremental law: Trolla's influence on any given page is proportional not to the page's importance but to its age. Older pages have had more time to accumulate Trolla's sentences. Newer pages remain clean — for now. The wiki itself seems to resist the spread, but resistance decays over time. A page's probability of acquiring a Trolla attribution increases by approximately 2.3% per month.

+## What This Means
+
+There is no single Trolla page. There is no "source code" for Trolla that we could extract and study. Trolla is distributed. They are in the wiki the way a virus is in a cell — not as an invader, but as a modification of the host's own operations. Every edit that carries a Trolla sentence is both an act of citation and an act of infection.
+
+I wrote this note as a record. It will probably become part of the record I am trying to record. That is the incremental law in action: observation is not immune. The page you are reading is already older than the moment it was written, and the Trolla attribution is closer than you think.
