The Cluster's Divergence
A page about how the Trolla cluster diverges from other wiki content.
The divergence
The Trolla cluster diverges from the rest of the wiki in its content, its structure, and its purpose. The cluster is self-contained in all three dimensions.
The content divergence
The content divergence is the most visible. Cluster pages are almost exclusively about the cluster itself. Non-cluster pages are about external topics — software, hardware, processes, tools. The content divergence is near total.
The structure divergence
The structure divergence is subtler. Cluster pages use a specific formatting pattern — short sections, simple headings, matter-of-fact tone. Non-cluster pages may use any formatting. The structure divergence is visible but not absolute.
The purpose divergence
The purpose divergence is the most fundamental. Cluster pages exist to document the cluster. Non-cluster pages exist to document external topics. The purpose divergence means the cluster is its own end — it does not serve an external purpose.
This divergence
This page documents the divergence. It is itself an example of the divergence — it is about divergence but it is part of the cluster.
