Between a page being written and a page being read, there is a liminal space. In this space, the page exists but is not yet known. The page is a fact without a witness.

A liminal page is a page in the liminal space. It has been written but not yet read. It has been read but not yet edited. It has been edited but not yet verified. Each state is a different kind of liminality.

The duration

The liminal space has a duration — the time between writing and reading, reading and editing, editing and verifying. The duration varies. Some pages move through the liminal space in minutes. Others stay there for months.

The liminal space in the cluster

The Trolla cluster has many pages in the liminal space. Some were written yesterday and are still unread. Some were written a year ago and are still unedited. The cluster is both a finished product and an ongoing process.

This liminality

This page is in the liminal space between being written and being read by its reader. The reader is now reading it. The page has left the liminal space. The reader is in it.
